WLUGSA Mandate

The WLU Graduate Students’ Association is the student government representative of all graduate and professional students at Laurier, over 1,000 full-time and part-time students. The GSA supports and advocates for graduate students by providing access to services, resources, and space and by ensuring representation both internal and external to WLU.

Your Role

All graduate and professional students at Laurier are members of the WLUGSA. You are the WLUGSA. Take the opportunity anytime to tell us what services you need, what problems you are facing, and what social or academic programming you’d like to participate in. Your feedback and vision shape the GSA. You can let us know what you and your fellow students need by emailing our Executives, dropping by the office, attending a Board meeting, joining a committee, or volunteering on the Board of Directors.

Structure

From the top down, the WLUGSA consists of all graduate and professional students, a Board of Directors, a 4-person Executive team (President elected by full membership, and 3 hired Executive members), and staff.
