Waterloo, ON… The Wilfrid Laurier University Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) is excited to announce a partnership with myStoria, a digital fertility platform dedicated to supporting and empowering individuals on their fertility journeys. This collaboration marks a significant step toward enhancing the holistic well-being of graduate students at Laurier by providing vital resources, education, and a supportive community for those navigating reproductive health and fertility-related challenges.

Through this partnership, Laurier graduate students will gain access to myStoria’s comprehensive fertility support platform, which offers educational content, community engagement, and personalized tools to help individuals take control of their reproductive health. By fostering an open and inclusive space, this initiative aims to reduce stigma and provide essential guidance to students who may be exploring fertility options, undergoing treatments, or seeking support.

“Our goal at the Laurier GSA is to support and uplift our graduate students in every aspect of their academic and personal lives,” said Taylor Coleman, President and CEO of the GSA. “Partnering with myStoria allows us to provide students with a powerful resource for navigating fertility challenges, ensuring they feel supported and empowered in this often overlooked aspect of their well-being.”

myStoria, known for its commitment to fertility education and advocacy, aligns with the GSA’s mission to promote student well-being. By utilizing the platform, students will have access to expert insights, peer support networks, and digital tools designed to assist in making informed decisions about their reproductive health.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with the GSA in bringing myStoria’s fertility support platform to the graduate student community at Laurier,” said Jessica Chalk, Founder & CEO of myStoria. “Our mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge and support they need to make informed choices about their fertility and reproductive health. We believe in patient-led care and are proud to support students at any stage of their journey as they take ownership of their reproductive health.”

The partnership was made possible through the Graduate Enhancement Fund and will officially launch May 5th, 2025. On May 5th, all currently enrolled graduate students will receive an email from myStoria with instructions on how to access the platform. The GSA encourages all graduate students to take advantage of this opportunity to explore fertility resources, connect with a supportive community, and gain insights from experts in the field.
